Welcome to my blog!
Who I am
My name is Olesya. I was born in Russia, in a city called Tver, located on the Volga River between Moscow and Saint Petersburg. In 2000, I moved to Antalya, Turkey, where I lived for nearly 20 years. Today, I live in Leonberg near Stuttgart, Germany, with my two cats. After a few years of working as a primary school teacher, I chose to devote myself fully to digital scrapbooking — something I had been doing part-time since 2010 and full-time since 2019. My background in education continues to shape the way I see stories and memory-keeping. When I’m not designing or scrapping, you’ll likely find me hiking, walking, reading, writing stories, watching movies, or baking pies.
Design philosophy
Mediterranka Design offers digital and physical products for scrapbooking lovers, planner enthusiasts, and project life memory keepers who value storytelling and meaningful memory-keeping. Journaling is at the heart of everything I create. Every collection and every project begins with a story and grows around it. I believe deeply in the power of written words. I don’t simply preserve memories through images — I help make them speak. My design style leans toward clean and simple — with space to breathe, room for reflection, and layouts that highlight what truly matters: the story.
Since 2019, I have also been producing photopolymer clear stamps under my own brand. Our production is based in the United Kingdom, ensuring high quality and attention to details.
