HALLOWEEN LAYOUT IDEAS
I hope you enjoyed making memories on Halloween. Now it’s the time to add all those photos to your albums. I continue to fill my travelers notebook with favorite moments of 2024 and want to show you several options, how you can create your layouts quick and easy by using the clear stamps and some ephemera. You don’t need too much scrapbooking supplies to documenting your Halloween memories. One basic set of stamps like Boo and October 2024 pocket life kit | Halloween are enough to fill your album with several unique layouts.
1. Halloween bucket list.
For this spread I paired a full page photo of Jack O'Lantern and a black-dressed porcelain witch doll with my Halloween bucket list. I created the bucket list in Photoshop using one of 6x4 pocket cards as a header. I cut the unnecessary elements living the ghosts only, than added the title, my To-do ideas for Halloween and a black frame around the list. After I printed the page, I used phrase clear stamps to complete the layout and also stamped black stars and added a black cat ephemera to decorate it. As you can see, I already finished my bucket list.
2. No tricks, just treats.
This pumpkin donut with chocolate filling was so good, that I decided to take photo of it and add to my traveler’s notebook. I actually not the big fan of adding some extra elements to the full photo page, but I wanted to keep the bakery name and there was a space in the bottom of the photo, so this time I just made it. For the right side of the spread I divided the page into squares and used various cards and tags from October 2024 pocket life kit | Halloween to fill them. After printing the page, I decorated it with some ephemera from the same kit and with the Boo clear stamps.
3. Halloween favorites.
I know, the most of scrappers find difficult to create the horizontal traveler’s notebook spreads, but not I. The easiest way to make this kind of layouts is using the 6x4 pocket cards. For my Halloween favorites spread I used two cards from October 2024 pocket life kit | Halloween. I completed the both sides of spread in Photoshop, combining the photos with cards, adding the text and leaving some space for the post-printing details. After I printed the spread, I decorated the pages with Boo stamps, black word tag and a plaid washi tape and a black star element, which I cut in half and glued to the page edges.
4. Halloween reads.
There is no Halloween for me without a spooky read. This year I chose a book series of two books. O, that was a haunting story, in every sense of the word! For the right side of the spread I used a full size photo of the book cover, which looks adorable – a haunted house, a crow, candles and pumpkins. For the left page I made a simple flip up from two 3x4 pocket cards with the book review journaling underneath and added several stamps from Boo set after printing. To paint the stamps I used the Tombow brush pens and Zebra Mildliner.
